Kinrara Picks Up Silver at 2022 IWSC Awards

We’re delighted to announce that two of our gins have picked up silver medals at the 2022 International Wine and Spirits Competition!

The IWSC sets the international benchmark for quality, standing out in the crowded world of drinks awards with hundreds of global experts – including buyers, producers, distillers, sommeliers, distributors and influencers – judging wines and spirits throughout the year.

Both our Highland Dry and Artist Edition ‘Ginny’ scored 90 points in the Distilled and London Dry Categories respectively.

Highland Dry – Silver Medal 90 Points

Here’s what the judges had to say:-

Aromas of heather and sweet tea. Opens to display juniper characteristics balanced with angelica and an unexpected tannic quality. Full mouthfeel and heat to the lingering finish.

Artist Edition ‘Ginny’ – Silver Medal 90 Points

Here’s what the judges had to say:-

Lightly floral with bright citrus and hints of buttery cookie dough. Clean, integrated and balanced with subtle citric notes, hints of coriander and warm spices.

These awards are the latest in a growing list of accolades for our small Distillery, with our Highland Dry Gin previously being named ‘Best Scottish Contemporary’ at the 2021 World Gin Awards.
